Directions for Use: 
Methods 1: 
1.Soak The Stone In Water for 10 Minutes. 
Most sharpening stones need to be saturated in oil or water before use. 
2.Put It On Bamboo Base and Ready to Use. 
Hold the knife with the cutting edge facing away, with the edge at a 15 degree angle for Asian-style knife, or a 20 degree angle for Western-style knife. 
3.Wash The Stone After Each Use. 
4.Keep The Stone In Dry & Cool Place. 
Method 2: 
1.Soak Stone in water for 5-10 minutes or until it stops bubbling. 
2.Insert stone into rubber base and then seat it in bamboo base. 
3.Sharpen on 3000 course side, applying even pressure and coonsistent angle 15-25 degree. 
4.Don’t scape the slurry while sharpenging. Lubricate with water to keep the stone wet. 
5.Repeat step 4 and step 5 on the 80000 side until your knife achieves desired sharpenss. 
6.Use leather razor strop to remove burr.
