Description

2.8Inch Tinysa Spectrum Analyzer MF/HF/VHF UHF Low 0.1MHz-350MHz High 240MHz-960MHz Signal Generator
Features:
Bulit-in Calibration Signal Generator: When not doing spectrum analyzer, it can be used as signal generator with two frequency outputs,MF/HF/VHF sinus output for 0.1MHZ-350MHz and UHF square waves output for 240MHz-960MHz. It is used for automatic self test and low input calibration.
Input Frequency Range: This Spectrum Analyzer with two inputs ,high quality MF / HF / VHF Input for 0.1MHZ-350MHZ and lesser quality UHF Input for 240MHZ- 960MHz.
PC Control: This spectrum analyzer can be connected to PC through USB, and realizes the serial over USB (CDC) protocol, which can call a large number of commands. After connecting the PC, the driver will be downloaded automatically.
ESD Protection Function: The latest version 3.1, new ESD protection function, installed diodes, so that it has more sensitive  response. performance, efficient anti-static level, better quality, longer service life.

Spurious noise is below -70dBm when using 30kHz resolution bandwidth B.
Resolution filters of 3, 10, 30, 100, 300 and 600 kHz can be selected manually. Automatic selection of one of 57 resolution filters.
On-screen resolution of 51, 101, 145 or 290 measurement points.
Scanning speed of over 1000 points/sec using the maximum resolution filter.
Automatic optimisation of the actual scan points to ensure that the entire scan range is covered regardless of the resolution bandwidth selected.
Spurious rejection option for assessing whether certain signals are internally generated or actually present in the input signal.
High input mode specification: (high input mode is low IF reception achieved using a second receiver, without pre-mirror and spurious.  filter)
Input frequency range: 240MHz to 960MHz.
The input impedance is frequency dependent and deviates from 50 ohms.
Strong input signals outside the 240MHz to 960MHz range cause in-band signal distortion due to the absence of an input band filter.

Scanning speed of over 1000 points/sec using the maximum resolution filter.
Automatic optimisation of the actual scan points to ensure coverage of the entire scan range, regardless of the resolution bandwidth selected.

Limitations:
As the tinySA’s internal components have been carefully selected to get a balance between performance and cost, you must be aware that the tinySA has significant limitations compared to professional spectrum analysers.
The internal phase noise sets a clear lower limit for phase noise measurements.
The minimum resolution bandwidth of 3kHz prevents more detail of the spectrum from being seen.
Very limited mirror rejection for high inputs (240MHz to 960MHz) and only one level of optional built-in attenuator makes complex signals difficult to resolve.
The optional input attenuator for the high inputs is frequency dependent and varies between 25dB and 40dB.
At lower resolution bandwidths (below 30kHz) the scanning speed can be slow.
Performance limitations of shields and filters may cause some mirroring and spurious to be visible. tinySA offers a spurious cancellation menu which can be set for spurious reduction by experienced users, but care needs to be taken with possible uncertainties.
Below 0.1MHz, sensitivity begins to decrease.
Below 1MHz, it is recommended that AGC is disabled and LNA is enabled where possible to obtain the best possible measurement quality.
Note:
The tinySA is not an SDR receiver and does not provide any receive demodulation!
The tinySA is not a frequency sweeper and does not provide a tracking source output, if a sweep function is required use the NanoVNA!
